Breaking The Rules

This one breaks balance because the stairs are not represented equally at all. This one breaks rule of thirds, because the subject is not exactly in the third of the picture, I angled myself so that it would look like they are not the subject. This one was not taken to break any rules, but I thought it looked scary, like she is running towards you. This picture break symmetry because she is in a weird pose (I love this picture)

Studio Lighting

Studio Lighting With Lily This one the ratio was 2:1, I had the light on her from two different angles, one 2x brighter than the other. Playing around with the lights. We had one very bright one on her and then had the ring light turned on at a lower brightness. It's been some time since I've seen this photo. If I can remember properly, we took it using another light on her, similar to the picture above, but we also used the natural light from outside.
